  1. $40,000?!?!?!?!?! WOW! Congratulations! That really makes me happy to see it go to such an important cause. Probably one of the MOST important. Congrats again!!!! 🙂

  2. Jane, you are a hero to me in so many ways that I can’t count them all. Reading your book and seeing the example of change that you live has helped me to grow and flourish as a woman. You fight the good fight, you don’t set limitations on yourself and you do not live your life in the confines dictated by other people. You’re the very definition of a free spirit. As someone who grew up experiencing extreme sexism in a male dominated environment, the distant but radiant light of your courage has been enough to change my life and sense of self. I just had to tell you how happy I am that you’re in the world!

  3. Jane,

You were your usual brilliant self last night–even with a cold and jet lag! The Vietnam vet who introduced himself to you while we were talking was beside himself later that he got to tell you how he has always admired you. And Kasim Reed wants to follow up! A safe and healthy journey back to Germany. Thanks for always keeping the cause of women’s freedom and equality front and center. You can’t keep a good woman down.

    Stephanie

  4. i see Tullea is also an activist ! wearing the black ribbon for a great cause, more seriously, you stay incredibly passionate. i remember a quotation in one of your book from Colette- A cours des heures,où je me sens inférieure à tout ce qui m’entoure, menacée par ma propre médiocrité,effrayée de découvrir qu’un muscle perd sa vigueur,un désir sa force, une douleur la trempe affilée de son tranchant, je puis pourtant me redresser et me dire-puissé-je n’oublier jamais que je suis la fille d’une femme qui penchait, tremblante, toutes ses rides éblouies sur une promesse de fleur, une telle femme qui ne cessa elle-même d’éclore, infatigablement, pendant trois quarts de sciècle- Colette- La naissance du jour- so you’re faith to yourself, in summary, growing older, and always reflowering, always staying vibrating, passionate.. passoniate for life, and a life of passion! frederique dhenein

  5. If it were not for planned parenthood in the 70’s, I would not have been able to afford the care that I got. They get my support forever. Great to hear you raised that amount.

  6. I really don’t know where your energy comes from! You are unbelievable. Keep fighting the good fight and please make some films soon!

  7. That is why we went to war, so Saudi women could be driven too the Mall and eat at Jack in the Box and Saudi Men can have their Philippine maids in bondage as sex slaves.
That is the culture we helped create .
Planned Parenthood or Unplanned life is going on,
keep wearing my black bracelet , looking good in black, brings out the color in you eye’s Jane

  11. I would just like to say that this event helped to kill many children. So many babies are lost to abortion every year. Millions of children have died. So many mothers have suffered from the heinous crime of abortion, and all these people want to do is raise money for it and keep it going. This world is truly sad when people disregard the lives of God’s children to make things more convenient for themselves. We were created to love and be loved, not to kill and be killed. I ask and pray that anyone who supports planned parenthood takes the time to look up the real facts about abortions, pre-marital sex, and contraception. These are all things that destroy lives or disrupt God’s plan for our lives. When people abort babies, they don’t just mess up the mother’s body, they kill a baby’s body. Here are some links you can go to in order to learn more about what abortion really is:

    I beg everyone, choose life.
