Jane, thanks so much for sharing your experiences and photos! Fascinating. With so many locals and tourists roaming the streets of Paris at the moment, I’m wondering when you are out and about, do you get recognized. Just wondering how you go about your business without being stopped endlessly or being gawked at. Also, saw a wonderful new doc called Beautiful Darling about Candy Darling and her Warhol experiences. You were shown in it looking lovely a few times. The doc intimated that you were interested in starring in a Warhol picture during the early 70s but since you were on your way to becoming an oscar winner by 1972 and a big star, I’m wondering if this was wishful thinking on “the fatory’s” part. However, I see that Candy had an uncredited part in Klute as a Discotheque Patron. Wondering if you knew her and what you thought of you Warholian experiences.

Dear jane – the first time I went to paris france I took 27 rolls of film (yes remember film!). And bought postcards of everything france offered. (Long ago, there were also postcard scrap books, sigh). The eyes feasted on visual beauty feeding all the senses. I was beyond myself, tripping over myself to “get it all in” physically somehow thru my third eye-the camera. And when I saw those french cows grazing in pastures in the south of france…oy!!! STOP THE CAR! Enjoy enjoying sharing your feast in paris pictures. A kiss to you, tulea and oh, dear paris.
