I heard yesterday that a “mine,” Tech Frontier Mine, the largest Tar Sands project ever has been cancelled. They were applying for a 20 billion dollar loan and the application was withdrawn on Sunday, Feb 23. They cited the climate as one of the key reasons for the decision.
