This is so awesome, Ms. Fonda! I interviewed my good friend Deborah Kampmeier for Agnes Films Journal: http://agnesfilms.com/interviews/interview-with-deborah-kampmeier-writer-and-director-of-split/
I love Women’s Media Center! So great.

We spoke about these very issues.

Dear Ms. Fonda: I just wanted you to know that I sent the last two photos of my “Barbarella” artwork to your Foundation’s offices in Atlanta, each photo in their own self-addressed-stamped-envelope, for you to look at and, hopefully, autograph. I won’t bore you with details, but I just want to say that I really think that you will be pleased with the end result of my work. Thank you very much for taking time off from your busy schedule to attend to this. Take care and have fun! Yours-Steven Vasko

Dear Jane its been a while since I’ve been on this phenomenal site of yours, so I was glad to get updated on what I missed in here. Great post like usual.
I’ve been meaning to ask you for so long now, but I keep forgetting it, the subject matter is one famous person you mentioned in your Oprah (Master Class) and Ellen appearances; that is your brief encounter with Greta Garbo.
You told that incredible story, and I, as a huge Garbo admirer was left hungry for more details. Will you please describe her, how you saw her and what you think about her. What’s your favorite movie of hers? Mine is Queen Christina 1933.
I value your opinion greatly, you’re a proven bright, intelligent and a visionary human being, beyond just a simple artistic talented actress.
I personally don’t think she was that much of a recluse; she was just a woman not willing to compromise, and forever trying to keep herself sane from all the craze of her colossal fame. Overall she was a unique soul.
Thank you for listening
Jane
Valter, I wish I could comply but right now I am super busy with very intense work so I can’t talk about Garbo. Not that I have much to add to what I wrote in my memoir. xxx JF

Dear Jane Fonda,
I’ve been a great fan of yours for a long time and have even written about you as a scholar and professor of French and Cinema Studies at Oberlin College. Here seemed as good a place to try contacting you as any other. Would you be willing to speak with me about Delphine Seyrig, about whom I am writing a book? I’ve been working closely with the centre audiovisuel Simone de Beauvoir (which she co-founded) in Paris, as well as her son, Duncan. Your friendship seems crucial to her story. I would be happy to come meet you wherever if you are willing to spare me some of your time, which I know is very, very solicited. Many thanks in advance, Grace
Jane
Dear Grace, Alas, I’m not able to answer your wish. I am working non-stop. Plus, I cared for Delphine and admired her but we didn’t have a very close relationship
