Photos from a recent party at Richard’s

I forgot to retrieve these photos of the party from my camera and post them. It was a fun party, multi-generational…my son and daughter-in-law, niece Bridget, Elliott Gould’s son Sam who is Troy’s closest friend. My step-mother, Shirlee, along with many of my friends and Richard’s. But I got too involved in the party and forgot to take more pictures. Several blog commenters have asked if Richard ever changes his clothes because he is always photographed wearing the mug shot t-shirt. Just to clarify, he has one of each version of the t-shirt…as can you and, by doing so, you’d be supporting The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (click here to visit my store).”

  2. Wow that must have been a interesting mix of people to put next to each other. Must have been a wonderful time. I sure that there was a good turn of a word of two that night , what was for dinner?

    • Hi Tim,
We don’t know each other, but I always read your replies and I read Jane’s recent blog where she mentioned you. I read your recent blog about your problems. I had no idea.
I’m thinking about you – across the ocean.
Take care and best wishes from Germany
      Jason

  3. I enjoy seeing a glimpse inside of your world through your photos and blog. When you get back to Atlanta, if you would like some photo tips shoot me and email. I teach photography and love showing folks easy ways to improve their photographic vision. Thanks again for sharing your life.

  6. Hi Jane- Barb and I had a wonderful time at your’s and Richard’s party. It was a lovely day, with wonderful people- very relaxing- great conversations- great to see old friends and acquaintances. I love the photos, especially the one of Richard and me singing “Sunday Kind Of Love”. By the way, my daughter Lily wants one of your mug shot T-Shirts. I’m in New York now, but when I get home, I intend to drop by to give Richard a special CD I don’t think he has. Perhaps I can buy a couple from you. Regards, Tim Hauser

    • Hi Tim. You can buy t-shirts or, for Barb, the tote bag or clutch, by going onto my blog shop. See you soon. xx

  7. Hey, I have been wearing my shirt around a lot here in Australia and getting lots of comments! Nice pics. Was Annette Bening there too? Her character in Open Range reminded me a little of your character in Comes a Horseman. It would be cool if you did a movie together with Warren and Redford!

  8. Hi Jane, I love your blog site and think it’s great you make time to do it. You write very well. I read about this site in Nutrition Action Health Letter (sorry to hear about your osteoarthritis by the way). You have had a very positive effect on my life through your exercise tapes and DVD’s. I bought your book back in the 80’s (just out of college)then the audio tape (how far we’ve come) and so many more. I did your pregnancy workout through each of my three preganancies and got in shape with your tapes later. I feel like I know well. I was just reading about the party and you mentioned Shirley (your Dad’s wife)and I remember her from your exercise tapes and wondered how she is doing. You are a great role model for me Jane, you are aging beautifully and with much grace and love of life. Exactly what I hope to achieve. Sue C.

    • Sue, Shirlee is doing great. She, too, is aging beautifully. Thanks for asking. xx

  9. Great pictures. Was Annette Bening there?

    • Tim, No. Annette’s doing “Medea” and good for her!!!

      • Thanks so much for responding. I have been very busy lately and only just checked this blog post. I love Annette Bening, and I do miss her onscreen. Still, a little theatre work is great practice, pass a break a leg for me if you can!
