CHRISTMAS 2013 AT THE RANCH

Posted on December 29, 2013, in My Blog, with 29 Comments

The extended family gathered outside Santa Fe over Christmas and we were treated to a few glorious snow storms which blanketed everything and gave my grandson, Malcolm, several chances to go skiing in very good conditions. The Santa Fe ski basin is about 40 minutes from the ranch. The kids had snow ball fights and Troy pulled Malcolm on a sled behind a 4-wheeler up some of our hills.…

EXTENDING THANKSGIVING INTO ATLANTA

Posted on December 8, 2013, in My Blog, with 17 Comments

I went to Atlanta on Sunday with my grandchildren. I wanted to spend more time with them and see my daughter, Vanessa.

LARRY KING AND GRANDKIDS

Posted on April 5, 2009, in Film, Television & Theater, My Blog, with 26 Comments

My dear pal, Larry King, is out there today and so is my daughter and grandchildren. Frankly, I’m more nervous about them than about Larry-and I don’t usually get nervous about anybody. Will they get bored? After all, it’s not a show for kids. Will they be proud of me? I hope so. Maybe, even if they forget everything about the play, they will remember after I’m gone that they saw their grandma perform on stage.…
