(What this blog is about happened 2 weeks ago. I was going to post it when I left Switzerland but I left my MacBook Pro lap top in my hotel room and only now have returned to Switzerland–Davos this time– and been reunited with it. Since I wrote this I feel as if several lifetimes have passed, the most dramatic

First I went to Atlanta for the annual Empower party that raises money for my Georgia-based non-profit, The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential. We honored Dr Sanjay Gupta with the Health Pioneer. It was a lot of fun and a big success. My favorite ex-husband, Ted Turner, was my date.

Turns out Dr Gupta went to University …

There are several things different about the Cannes Festival this year. For one thing, the weather has been horrible. I’m told it’s the worst weather of any festival in memory–rain, big wind, cold. As a result, the Mediterranean, shimmery glow that gives the festival its party vibe was missing.

Made it home from Cannes hopeful that the Lakers would turn around their series with Oklahoma but their post season ended last night.

I had a great time at Cannes this year. Those of you who followed my Twitter and Facebook accounts were able to see my behind-the-scenes and red carpet photos. I can’t tell you how much fun it …

IN PARIS PART 2

In the photo above I am with Pierre Richard from our film, “…Et Si On Vivait Tous Ensemble” (And If We All Lived Together). I spent yesterday in Paris doing interviews on behalf of the film which was made last year. What was so exciting was that the journalists all felt the film was really good. Many had seen it …
