  7. you guys are like legends, and great actors, yet you seem like normal people. Jane..i think you are beautiful, talented and crushworthy. yet, I am 45 years of age, i have always had a huge crush on you. If you need a boytoy, and the 4,987,678 other guys are all talk, I would love to correspond. China Syndrome is my favorite flick with you in it. Reply please!!

  8. I finally read Peter’s book “Don’t Tell Dad”
    Very telling.

  9. Amazing. You both look amazing.

    • Thanks. That’s what good genes and money will get you. Being in love doesn’t hurt either!!

  10. Jane I absolutely love your new hair style… you always look so classy! When I graduated in ’71 I attempted to have the same shag cut/style that you had in your “Mug Shot”…lol I got carried away and it was rather exagerated. If I ever figure out how to email a copy to you – I will. It sure is good for a laugh. I know my sons get a kick out of it ! BTW Peter looks great too ! Cheers, Linda

  11. Hello Miss Fonda, My wife and I saw an excellent movie last night called Goodbye Solo Directed by Ramin Bahrani and the main character in the film is Red West. And I was explaining to my wife who he is. He went to Humes High school in Memphis and was a life long friend of Elvis Presley. My wife was impressed by the fact that I knew who he was. Then she turned to me and sarcastically asked “Have you written to your imaginary friend What’s her name” with a snicker, referring to you and I said “no” so then I started thinking about you and I wondered, Maybe if I asked you a question and you answered me then I can show my wife and have the last laugh. Here is the question and you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. Did you ever in your life cross paths with Elvis Presley? Miss Fonda, I love your blog, I love the pics, You are a beautiful woman. Bye the way my wife and I saw the Latest Jeff Bridges Film Crazy Heart. Filmed in New Mexico. I hope he wins big. He deserves it. Great job. Thank you my imaginary freind. 😉 Take care. Leonard Quintana

    • I think Jeff’s gonna win. Yea. Love the man. Alas, no paths crossed with Elvis. Shucks

  12. Coucou Mr. Fonda

    A Bientôt

  26. Must have been a wonderful birthday for Peter, I hope he is well, I feel he has some great roles ahead of him. Peter must been one of the top actors and actresses that are underrated.Like some other actor or actresses that are shadowed by there mothers or fathers , Peter comes across as phenomenal and stronge. Is beloved by a cult but unknown to many.I feel thatPeter is universally beloved, yet so taken for granted, as a Actor.
    My best ,

  27. Jane, you look like you are 50 years old….God bless.

  28. Happy Birthday Peter! You two look wonderful together. 🙂

  29. I’m amazed how well he looks. The both of you!
This is NOT how 70 used to look!

  30. Jane, you and Peter should do a film together! I’d love to see that. Just as your Dad played your Dad in ON GOLDEN POND, it would be curious to see you in a movie like that again. With Peter, a movie about family, about brothers and sister’s, about how time riches the bonds and relationships. He is such a Icon of the late 60’s. I’d love to see what Captain America would be up to now. A story about siblings who have known each other for life, sharing about how they are navigating the 3rd Act.

The dream would that Robert Redford would be in the movie with you guys. Ya know maybe we get to see what Corey and Paul are up to now, since we last saw them in Barefoot. HAPPY out on the farm someplace maybe. 🙂

Here hoping someone is writing THAT script! hehe 😛

    All the best.

    -Eric

  31. I love Peter, Bye
    Saludos.

  32. Happy Birthday Peter! Easy Rider is one of my favorite movies, and I just love the Fondas- you, Peter, and Henry. You both look fabulous!

  33. You say it’s Pete’s barthday.
    Well, happy birthday to he.

    Stay on groovin’ safari,
    Tor

  34. Belated birthday wishes to Peter! Seeing his furbaby, Linus, reminded me of Tulea. Where has she been keeping herself lately? Is there a picture of her and her cousin, Linus? 🙂
    Ciao!
    Susan

  35. Good to see pics of you with your bro. Loved Peter’s book too, often tell people at the library to read it and they come back to me and tell me that I was spot on! Of course, how could it not be good….he’s a Fonda! Oscars soon, can’t wait….it is up there with Christmas Day for me! People know not to ring me or come a knockin’, fate worse than death! We get it here at night (delay because of time diff) a few hours after the live one in your night….if you get what I mean! Keep on going Jane!

  36. OMG..Jane, you & Peter look truly fantastic ;’o Best wishes always.

  37. Jane,
I love the doo. Lady you look great!

  38. For a moment, even though I had read the heading, I thought that was Jack Nicholson.

  39. Hi,

I never had the pleasure of meeting Peter, even though my sailboat, the Maluhia, was in the slip next to Tatoosh at the Ala Wai Marina in Honolulu in 1979/80. Peter’s boat was beautiful and I just finished reading the story of her Seattle designer, a rather sad story. And I had always thought Peter’s boat was a Phil Rhoades design!

I suspect Peter has the same love of sailboats as I have always had. ‘Tis a good thing!
